Professional, honest and efficient
A keen golfer, an artist and, above all, an estate agent: meet Rainer Alcón, who has led Inmobiliaria Sa Coma for decades.
A family business since 1988
Inmobiliaria Sa Coma was founded in 1988 by Christine Günther, Rainer Alcón’s mother. He joined a few years later and, from 1997, also ran a construction company with her that grew to employ 80 people.
“We built the homes and my mother sold them. The perfect team.”
Clients come first
That philosophy still guides the agency today along Mallorca’s east coast, from Colònia de Sant Pere to Cala d’Or: a complete service for buyers and sellers alike.
- Personal advice in Spanish, Mallorcan, German, English and Italian.
- All commercial, legal and notarial formalities handled for you.
- Professional photography and video, virtual tours and multilingual listings.
“Our clients trust us and value the transparency and clarity of our work.”
Emotional value versus market price
Rainer Alcón’s advice to sellers: it is only natural to overvalue a home you know and love. Agents call this emotional value – but it should not be confused with the price the market will actually pay.
Stronger together
Inmobiliaria Sa Coma is part of AGORA MLS, a network of around 420 agencies across Spain, about 20 of them in Mallorca. If a client cannot find the right property in our own portfolio, the request is shared with partner agencies in the area – at no extra cost.
“We share the fee between us, but the price for the client stays the same.”
Professional standards
For years Rainer Alcón campaigned for an official register of estate agents in the Balearic Islands, so that only accredited professionals can practise. That register now exists, and Inmobiliaria Sa Coma is listed under GOIBE 727966/2024.
Art and golf
Away from the office, Rainer Alcón is an artist like his father, the painter Juan Alcón Agustín (who died in 2012), whose work features prominently in the agency and even in the collection of King Juan Carlos. Rainer creates sculptures and epoxy-resin lamps with wood, leaves and LED lighting – for now, only for family and friends.
And then there is golf: every Friday at 2.30 pm he has a standing date with friends on the course.
“These moments of art and golf are balm for the soul. When you work this hard, you need that balance.”
