When you enter the offices of the real estate offices in Sa Coma in the town of the same name, you think you are in a gallery. They are beautiful pictures, all from the father of the owner Rainer Alcón, a Valencian famous artist named Juan Alcón Agustín (died 2012) who came to Mallorca with his wife in 1968.

"I have many more pictures, my father was not only creative but also very productive."

Alcón stacks quite deep, because his father's pictures have also attracted prominent admirers and collectors, even the former King Juan Carlos owns an Alcón picture.

Rainer Alcón inherited both the artistic gene from his father and the business gene from his German mother, Christine Günther.

“In the end, business sort of won. But art is still my great passion, which I live out in the form of sculptures.”

He has also set up a spacious studio in his house for this purpose. For example, he works a lot with epoxy resin, into which he inserts wood or leaves or fills gaps with it, conjuring up very attractive lamps with integrated LED lights.

“At the end of the day, when you sell a house or apartment, there is only one piece of paper left, the contract. I'm missing the haptic, something that I can do with my hands, look at and use. Maybe someday I'll start selling my pieces, but for now I'm just making them for us and our friends."

His second passion is playing golf. “I can be scheduled for a meeting or viewing almost any day, any time, with one exception: Friday at 2:30pm. Then I treat myself to a game of golf with friends. These quality times that I spend with art or playing golf have to be, it's balm for the soul. When you work as hard and as much as I do, you need a balance like this,” says Rainer Alcón.

It started with my mother

His real estate company was founded in 1988 by his mother, who after years as an employee and after divorcing her husband, became self-employed.

Her son joined the company just a few years later and, starting in 1997, ran a construction company with up to 80 employees at the same time for ten years.

"We built houses and then my mother sold them." A perfect team.

Customer service above all

What applies then as now to his real estate company, which operates primarily on the east coast, for example from Colònia Sant Pere to Cala d'Or: complete customer service.

This means that as a real estate buyer, but also as a seller, you receive all-round support.

This starts with professional and personal advice. Rainer Alcón himself speaks five languages ​​fluently (Spanish, Mallorcan, German, English, Italian) and concerns all commercial, legal and notarial matters.

Professional photos and videos are taken, multilingual offers are written, there are virtual tours and much more.

This also applies in particular to the business processes of Inmobiliaria Sa Coma, because Alcón is a member of the MLS Ágora association, which operates across Spain and has around 420 brokers.

Anyone who contacts Alcón with their wishes for an apartment or house and does not find anything suitable in their own portfolio also sends the request to the other members of the association in the customer's search region. There are currently 22 real estate agencies in Mallorca.

Of course, this does not result in any additional costs for the customer.

“We settle this among ourselves and split the commission, but the price for the customer remains the same.

We are all officially registered and certified brokers, I am also a home appraiser and forensic appraiser. This guarantees seriousness.”
